Product Description

The half-round edges and curving shape of the Transglobe 4906 Flushmount gives you an elegant variation on a standard ceiling fixture. The metal body of this fixture is available in a range of sizes and in your choice of finishes. Curved panels of clear, beveled glass surround the light source, which, depending on the size you choose, will require three or four 60-watt medium base bulbs.

Porche fixture review

The delivery and shipping packaging was excellent. I did however have a problem with one of the two light fixtures I received. One unit had obviously been installed somewhere else before I received it. There was evidence of paint on the fixture, the wires had been connected before and the fiberglass insulation in the top of the fixture was not in original condition. I didn't really want to return the unit so I installed it anyway. I then discovered that one of the lamp would not light. I wanted to finish my installation job and decided to try to repair the problem rather than return the unit. I disassembled the fixture, fixed the problem with the socket and the unit now functions as it should. It is unfortunate that the supplier did not inspect this returned fixture more carefully before sending it to another unnsuspecting customer.In general I like the design of the lighting fixture, the attractive price and the prompt delivery by the seller. I am disappointed that I received a defective fixture in the first place.I would suggest that the seller inspect returns more carefully in the future.

Attractive fixture for my breezeway

I purchased this fixture to replace a very old single bulb design for my breezeway (space connecting my house to my garage). It looks great and provides ample lighting with three bulbs in all. There aren't a lot of choices for this outdoor kind of space...This was perfect, well made, attractive, and well priced.

Good looking and plenty of light

Very good for a favorable price. My only negative is about the instructions: they are worthless. But putting up a ceiling light doesn't require much savvy. I installed it, it works, and it looks great.
